I explore escapism through figurative painting and mural work rooted in Black and Afro-Latina culture, spirituality, and memory. Using patterns, and symbolism, I create immersive works that blur fantasy and collective experience. My paintings often depict Black and Afro-Latina women while exploring identity, fragmentation, dissociation, and emotional interiority through layered motifs, abstraction, and large-scale compositions.
